Attendees will get a chance to evaluate the genetics traits associated with the ability to taste bitter compounds by separating DNA of storyline subjects by electrophoresis. In this activity they will pour their gels, load and run them in the electrophoresis chambers, and document and analyze their results in order to back track a storyline of inheritance.
