Ryan spent ten years at Promega Corporation in Madison, WI working as a Research and Development Scientist working on Genetic Analysis technologies. Ryan's experience in hands-on science teaching goes back to 2001, serving as a laboratory instructor for the BTC Institute in undergraduate and graduate-level course offerings. Ryan joined the BTC Institute as a full-time Biotechnology Instructor in 2008. He develops and teaches course content in support of the BTC Institute's K-12 and adult outreach programs. Additionally, he enjoys mentoring high school students with science interests as a part of the Dane County Youth Apprenticeship Program in Biotechnology.
