I have been teaching science for over 15 years. I am passionate about getting students connected to local issues in their communities. I feel strongly that students should have a strong understanding of science to be informed citizens. I have a background in science research and love having my students do research of their own. I have been trying to make my curriculum more project and place-based, as well as cross-curricular. I would love to talk to you about any of this!
